Remedial massage therapy is a hands-on technique used to treat conditions affecting muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues. It focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of pain, tension, and immobility by the use of specific pressure and manipulation techniques to alleviate muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote the body's natural healing process.  The therapist palpates the patient’s body to determine the condition of the tissues and the source of any pain and suggests the correct form of remedial treatment based on their analysis. They may also provide workplace/home advice, corrective or rehabilitative exercises and strengthening strategies to promote healing and wellbeing.
